Anyone know if monster 620 headers will fit on a post 99 750ss? I'm getting tired of waiting for a set from a 620 sport or 800ss to come up on ebay, and I see the monsters all the time. Looks to me like the only difference is the vertical pipe has an extra bend, I assume to go around the rear suspension, and there are some brackets that could be ground off.

I believe the distance between the ports is a bit longer, which is no biggie since I can use the TIG welder at work to shorten them. My real concern would be that the ports were changed for the 1000ds head and might not line up, requiring more mods than I'm willing to do. Anyone know about this? Xseal, thanks for the offer, I'll PM you when I dig up a little more info.

That's what I was afraid of, too much modifying. I'll probably try and pick up a set of monster headers on the cheap from ebay, so I won't feel bad if they don't work out.
