FYI, for the last few hundred miles I've had great results with a newer piggy back fueling controller and a pair of custom oxygen sensor eliminators on a Monster 1100S. The controller has built in data logging allowing me to verify how the Siemens ECU is operating without the stock narrow band O2 sensors present. The surging at low RPM/constant throttle are now gone and the overall throttle response is much better. So far things look promising. The AFR Tuner I'm using is probably not for the average rider, but hopefully Dynojet will make some progress on the PCV soon. More details HERE

thanks for the write up, it's good to know there are options. but it does look pretty complicated to set up. yeah, hopefully dynojet will release their power commander at some time.
