Here are a few pics of my SF. Sorry for the links. I can't figure out how to get a 5 or 6 meg file down to a size that can be uploaded to the forum.

All CF pieces are from Shift Tech as well as the brakes/reservoirs, axle nuts, and exhaust hanger.

Great pix. Huge resolution on that camera--you can really see every little detail.

How well does that radar detector work?

Great mods... and yes, fantastic pics. Usually the camera manufacturer has a dvd with an app for modifying pics for email/downloading to your HD. Or there is always the home version of photoshop.

very nice looks like the only think your missing is a carbon rear hugger :p

Did you start with a base and build an R sans bodywork?

The radar detector is an Escort 8500. I have the same one in my car for years. It is a great unit. I have it hooked up with one of those H.A.R.D. LED units that that go in your helmet. It works great even though the detector looks pretty odd up there.

The bike was base model as there were no "S" models around at the time as they were being held due to the recall. I bought the Ohins and wheels from Guido at Shift tech as he was selling his components to make his Project bike.

Still need the rear hugger as you mentioned.

Thanks for the comments.

Kick ass!

Good job!

Two questions:

1) Does that Shift-Tech exhaust hanger rest against the rear subframe?
2) Is that a "Legal Speeding" transmitter for the helmet mounted heads up display?

Thanks!

The exhaust hanger is "V" shaped and attached with with two bolts to the frame. I'm not sure if this answers your questions.

Yea, I need to find a better place for the radar detector. Still, I would rather have it then not have it. I'm actually more concerned with L.E. issues with loudness. The bike is loud, but man does it sound nice.

Nice ride Ken, first time I see some pictures. Guess the only S model with a black frame in your area.

jones525- The exhaust bracket is a direct replacement for the stock foot pegs, you simply remove the stock peg bracket and mount the exhaust bracket to the same spot that the peg bracket came of from, bolts right on.

Is there much of a difference....

With the DB Killers in or out with respect to loudness?
