Also a common ebay item.
For the ZX-9 idea, make sure you get good ones. I tried an aftermarket mirror made for the ZX-9 and the quality was just awful - they wouldn't stay adjusted in any kind of useful position.
Anyway, the stock ones look pretty good if you ask me, but if you buy OEM from BikeBandit.com or similar they are stupid expensive - I seem to remember $135 each (!). MUCH cheaper on ebay. Or from these guys here!

Sorry, I meant that the OEM Ducati ones were expensive, not the Kwacker units.

But have you considered the ones with integral indicators at £105.

would those "mirrors" work? you mentioned dremeling the holes on the bracket. those should technically work then also.

$100 EACH from bikebandit.com - who are usually a little cheaper than the dealers in the US.billywiztheelder said:
They used to be much cheaper, but at some point - around 2002 I think, most replacement parts for the SS bikes about doubled in price. I know because I needed replacement plastic twice within a few years (don't ask), and I couldn't believe the way the prices had changed.
