too funny! I was one of the many people watching that auction! I would say that if you spend under $1000 buck refinishing them the way you like it still a good deal!

BTW: What do you plan on doing with your stock wheels? I'm in the market to get rid of my 3 spokers

Yeah, they probably would have gone for a lot more if the front matched or was easily refinished. Actually, I'd like to hear if anyone knows about refinishing these to that original plated look. I have a set of the wheels but mine have the gold paint.

don't sandblast them,sand is to rough for magnesium.
let them pearl blasted or with wall nut shells is it i guess that you guys can do.
also tell them it is magnesium.
and i don't think you get that look back just by blasting them.
they get that color by the zinc-cromate treatment.

if you media blast them, you will have to get that zinc chromate done again,

there are a few places out there that do that process
