Well like most in the northeast I am beginning the usual off-season of upgrades to my bike. I'm looking to change out the OEM wheels with a set of Marchesini Aluminum Forged offerings for the GT. Problem is I can't find a set anywhere. I know of Motowheels but am looking for other dealers for price comparisons, etc.

I prefer a set of new (in black) instead of pre-owned.

Does anyone know of any dealers that sell in or ship to the USA??

Thanks in advance for any help and/or suggestions.

here is a link from the marchesini website where you can find distributors...

http://www.marchesiniwheels.com/ENG/AboutMarchesini/Distributors/Distributors/

also, for what its worth try to go through this shop here in LA, I think they can get them straight from Marchesini:

West Coast GP Cycles - (310) 477-0997

talk to Andy or Alex and tell them that David (the french dude) suggested you called.

the wheels you are looking for are the KOMPE. You won't regret it...

best,
D.

I have heard that these guys are good: http://tawvehicle.com/
+1 - I have dealt with TAW, and they are good people. Give them a shout and see if they can help you. They are also Brembo reps, and perhaps could set you up with a package deal.

Thanks for the response and suggestions!

Doesn't look like there are many choices out there...I had no idea these wheels were so scarce.

I will look into these places and update the results (and hopefully my good luck in finding a set of wheels)

Thanks again.

If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.

I'm not sure which Marchesini set up fits the SC's, but these guys have a crazy blowout price on a black set of Marchesinis for a 749/999 or a S4R/S4RS. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see their list of available wheels.

I've never worked with these guys before... I know nothing about them, but I came across this deal surfing the net for something totally unrelated.

Anyways...good luck and most of all have fun with your search.

I bought some new 5-spoke Marchesinis from this seller in Holland. His site is currently listing a pair of new red Marchesinis, but it may be worth keeping an check on the site if you don't want the red wheels.

The guy was good to deal with & delivery was fast. I have no connection with the company other than being a past customer.

He seemingly gets these from Maurizio Pirini… a parts dealer from Gambettola/Italy

But Maurizio is always cheaper in his offers!
