I had my 7500 mile service at about 7400 miles. Now that I've actually hit 7500 miles, when I start the bike the odometer mileage LCD comes on indicating "maint" for a few seconds. Not critical, but does anyone know how to turn that off?

From the manual:

To remove the “MAInt”
message hold down button (13) and
set the key to ON, wait until the
message clears and then release the
button and set the key to OFF.
When the ignition key is returned
to ON the message should not
reappear.

Pat the bike gently on the shoulder and say "Grazie for the reminder Pisan." Then offer it some grappo. Does it every time.:p
