I'm having a tough time getting a definitive answer on this, so I'm hoping someone here knows. Are both the alternator and clutch engine housings on the HM 1100 Evo SP made of magnesium? I've found press releases that say the alternator cover is made of magnesium, but nothing on the clutch side.

The part numbers on the 1100 S vs. 1100 evo vs. 1100 evo SP are different for certain, but the clutch side are only different by one character where as the alternator side is different by a few. To me, it looks like the clutch is basically the same for all three models (aluminum painted gold) where as the alternator is different which corresponds to the press releases claiming that it is magnesium.

Clutch Side

1100S - 243.2.115.1AC
1100 Evo - 243.2.115.1BD
1100 Evo SP - 243.2.115.1BC

Alternator Side

1100S - 242.2.077.1AC
1100 Evo - 242.2.081.1CE
1100 Evo SP - 242.2.081.1CC

My follow up questions is are the clutch housings on the dry clutch bikes all the same? Could I take a clutch housing off of a 916 and fit it to the HM 1100 Evo SP? From my calibrated eyeball, they look the same...
