IT'LL BE CHEAPER BRINGING YOUR OWN!....most tracks seem to charge a premium price for their fuel!

Make sure to pick up a 5 gallon gas container. It's probably $4 a gallon at the track. I hear Wal Mart sells containers as well. I have 2 containers, one is the red one (squishable one) I got from Advanced Auto Parts, and the other is the one I got from a motorcycle place that is tall with a ball shutoff valve in it. I'll probably bring that one only due to limited space in my car. I haven't come up with anything yet to hold that stuff on my trailer.

I will definitely have gas beforehand. I figure if I need more for the second day we can head out and buy some locally. I'm tempted to not fill up the container with gas until we ge down there as I bet gas is cheaper there than around this area.

Make sure also you double check the requirements for your bike and gear on the registration form and Cornerspeed site.

Hey Zooom,

hey guys sorry for long ass delay i just saw your last posts. Zooom you were lookin pretty good, though if you are going to claim sore back as an excuse to get out of things I'd reccomend not letting many more people see you pop any more wheelies on the monster ;)

I'll pick up a gas container tonight, got the bike and me ready with everythign but boots, but cornerspeed should be holding a pair for me. I spent 20 bucks on a wheel chock and mounted it to some plywood, and turned it into a pretty decent front stand. Got a set of new pilot powers i'll be taking along, though I met up with Dave Young (my trailer ride) this past saturday at colemans test ride, he said my current tires could pass inspection fine so I figure ill beat the crap out of the old ones on the track and have the new ones just in case.

Oh Dave Y. said we'd be leaving around noon or a little before on sunday, so I'll prolly meet you guys down there around 5ish.

Lastly, totally different subject. I know its a bit of a ways off, but I'll be missing the MAD ride this sunday cause of leaving for VIR. So I was thinking about setting up a skydiving info thing after the May ride. I'll be just finished up with my phd qual exam then and can spend some time getting a trip set up. I'll prolly call Tom from MAD about getting an email sent out with that group about it. Question though: I can bring some pictures and talk about it at lunch for anyone whos interested, or I was thinking of inviting people back to my place in Silver spring, I can show some videos, pull out my gear and give you guys an idea what to expect (as far as safety features and how it works) and fire up the grill for some burgers and beer if there's interest. So, go the easy lunch route or you guys wanna see some videos/gear and cook out? I was worried whether people would want to come back or had their own things to do after the ride. Prolly pick a weekend thats good for everyone interested right then to take the trip. It'll be a 2 hr ride out, jump and hang out most of the day till everyone lands, then ride back.

But, yeah I'll look forward to seeing you guys on sunday
