Who in here lowered their street fight? How much? What method did you used? And how the Corning?
Option A: Buy a sato racing lowering link
Option B: Buy a used 1098 link and machine it down

I lowered my front by 12.5mm and rear by 12mm, good rideablity around town but the worst conceivable idea on the track; the tire brushes against the radiator guard under extreme braking.

Shittiest results at the track I tell ya.

As far as geometry and handling, pretty much the same.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to lower your SF?

I too I'm short. I'm 5 4" and I tip toe on my SF 848. I plan on trimming the seat about 1 1/4 inches off. Buy some Robo Cop looking boots that give you 1-2 inches. I wear my Sidi Doha cause there really comfortable. I can also use my Joe rocket boots that have about 1-2 inches on them but I don't like how the feel when I'm ridding. I tip toe on both feet but I'm cool with that. I work out alot and I'm strong as F$#k so I can hold my own.

He's vertically challenged. Seat on the bike is very high and he is kind of short. I don't think that he's able to get one foot flat on the ground. OP, Were your r1's lowered?
No my R1 wasn't lower. Im Tip toes on that beast too. Lol. Had a few stop and drop situation. Doing a seat modd this week. I hope it help. I was going to lower it but about an inch front and in the back but after hearing that it would ruin my track days. I'll leave it alone.

I'm 5'6" and while a bit taller I still tip toe around.. what I find best is.. moving my butt to a side and flat foot while at stops.. and .. I find no shame on getting off the bike to push it around..
