Hello, i just added a corse clutch to my 749r. IT did however came with stock springs/clutch caps Which are wrong for this clutch. 40mm and very weak

I ordered the black corse springs, Which just left me without the right clutch spring caps.

Am i right they are h=8 (height id 8mm) or do i need different caps for these.

Last but not least does anyone have a set of 4 for sale ?

Thanks in advance!

Clutch plate package is correct height

Springs need to measure 42.1mm.
These are 40 and develop way less pressure.

Yes i have ridden the bike and iT slips on Acceleration and to long on down shifts.

Had something similar occur on my MTS when I replaced the worn clutch plates at 35K miles with the Barnett P/N 306-25-10008 Clutch Plate Kit.

I had to buy new Ducati OEM P/N 797.1.053.1A springs because they are 45MM, and all the aftermarket replacement springs I could find were only 41MM.

Trust me, the 41MM springs don't work as I found out after losing 6th gear on the highway.
