I just installed a Leo Vince full 57/60 Ti system on my '04 999R, and all I can say is 'Great balls almighty!' This system rocks, it took me 5 hours to install but I was being very carefull. I shyed away from the Termi's because of the burnt fairing issue so I chose Leo's. Took it for a test ride today and realized I need better ear plugs. At 4000 RPM while cruising the resonance is LOUD. Otherwise the noise levels at lower RPM are tolerable...except to my neighbors..I've yet to dyno it..but I'm thinking at least a 10 HP gain. The pic is near my home in Colorado about 30-45 from my house (30 for me and 45 for my wife). Had a blast but had to cut the ride short because I needed to bleed my clutch. I hopefully will have a dyno chart soon to post. Any comments about tuning would be greatly appreciated.

the best huh I just put mine on last week with a pc III took me all night but well worth it. The only thing I was disapointed with is the carbon its not the pre preg stuff

Wish I would have bought a Leo. I put my 57mm Termi on and had the typical burnt fairing issue. Left out the fastener at the back in the kickstand slot. I hope I have it fixed now. Just went out for 4 hours and it was hot below the kickstand, but not burning. Have about 1/2 inch of Thermo-Tec on the fairing. Seems to have made a huge difference. Taking it to a local guy who does all kinds of trick exhausts for race cars etc...

You're right about one thing, the bike goes like heck now. Huge difference.

Can you guys give me an idea(PICS would be great) how the Leo installs down below the kickstand and what they do to get around the issue with the pipe right next to the fairing? I heard any 57mm system has the same issues down there..

Yeah' the Leo's come with spacer's for the right side and a new bracket fot the left side.....move the fairings out and the spacing is perfect..now I just need a sound recorder and all is good!

Very nice bike... and exhaust!

I've heard from more than a couple of owners that the sound of the Leo Vince SBK exhaust is incredible, almost like being at the WSBK races...

I have friend who installed it on his 749R and while he said it was a fantastic upgrade, the PC3 also made a great difference on smoothing out the power curve. He got 3 more rwhp out of it... so perhaps for the 999r, you might be able to squeeze out another 4-5 (just a guess...), plus smooth throttle.

I bought one, and this exhaust is awesome on my 999S w/ DP ecu 11K rpm and a PC. I'll never go back to my 57mm Termi. which is up for sale w/o ecu. Go to Motowheels.com for sound clips on this exhaust. Enjoy....

Nice looking bike, but your wife's 800 is prettier (nicer still if it was red)!
