Well, it seems like I'm just getting used to this place, but it's time to move on. I'm trading my 05 800 SS for an 06 VFR (non ABS) on Wednesday. I love my Duc, but it's a little too racy for my 5'9 frame and the type of riding I do. I'm really anxious to hop on the VFR and start piling up some miles.

Galaxy- I had to leave the Remus pipes and Helibars on the bike to make the trade. Thanks for all of the help.

I'll post a few pics of the VFR once I take delivery. It's Pearl White and looks stunning... very clean.

Congratulations

As an owner of a 2002 vfr and a new owner of a '96 900ss I feel qualified to say that you're getting a great bike in the VFR. I love the personality of my new (to me) Duc, but the VFR is just an awesome road bike, and if you can have only one bike, it's VERY tough to beat. Enjoy, and make sure to visit vfrdiscussion.com for all your VFR information...

You are making a great move sideways, I'd have bought an 02 VFR if my best mate didn't go an buy an 01. He just traded up to an 05 last October, you won't be disappointed.

Make sure you get a set of pies coz without a decent exhaust they sound like a VW Kombi. ( VW microbus in Americanese )

Drop in from time to time
