I had my 600 mile service done last week and the bike (848) has been sitting in the garage since then due to the craptastic weather. When I went to get on the bike today I noticed a small pool of oil on the floor. :(

It's coming from one of the four bolts on the tiny square plate next to the drain plug. I don't have a torque wrench but I checked it's tightness by hand just to make sure it wasn't ridiculously loose. Seemed okay. Is it just a matter of buying a torque wrench and tightening that bolt? Or could something else be wrong? Any advice before I ask the dudes who serviced it what's up?

Thanks.

Those bolts strip easily, so I wouldn't just torq it. You probably need to replace that seal and use some tri seal on top of that and it won't leak anymore. While your at it, just replace those screws with some different ones... ;)

Maby a stupid question.

Did you remove the fairings to check or did you just look under the bike with the fairings on?
The leak can come from another place just that is runs down to the lowest point before it starts to drip.

just checking.. :)

Otherwise.. what tye1138 says..
