Hi All, I have 06 749s that's heading to the track on friday and I would like to take the kickstand off. The problem is that after the stand has been unpluged the bike quits after it's been put in gear.
Anyone have a solution?

Yes.. Leave it on! :D

Nah.. If i recall you can unbolt the sensor on the kickstand and leave it in the "up" position.

And on the older bikes with sidestandswtiches, all you had to do was to place a jumper between the wires to get the system to see the kickstand as "up" But don´t take my word for it.

Why don´t you leave the stand on? It´s not like it´s scraping or something, right?

I was able to use a jump wire at the female end and taped it up.
The bike now thinks the stand is there.
