i have a 09 848 & just passed 600 miles & now i have a SERV light when starting,

What is done for the 600 mile service?

How Much is this gonna cost me?

& Where Should I Have it Done? there is no Ducati Dealers Around me, (Burlington VT)

the 600 is fairly cheap, a few hundred bucks in most cases. oil and filter, but more imprtantly, a belt tension check. BCM in Laconia is a great dealer, a few hours away.

I believe you have to get service done at a dealership or you kill your warranty. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

600 mile is now just an oil change and a check of the throttle position sensor. Head down to Valley Motorsports in Northamption, MA. Great guys and know their Ducati.

They said it was fine to change my own oil, but they wanted to see the bike to check the throttle position sensor, because I bought the bike from them, no charge.
