For starters, NO TITLE! It took 6 months, but I got one. (clean, no salvage)
It had been laid down, twice, once on each side.
Every body panel damaged or destroyed, mirrors smashed, forks out of balance, bars twisted, one can destroyed, tires dry rotted, calipers frozen, clutch shot, chain frozen, rear tire out of line, lights torn off, wiring pulled from crash(lots of tracing currents) tank rusted to hell, etc etc etc.
I spent 9 months, off and on working on all of the above.
Once I had a title in hand, off for inspection and then to get tags.
Rode the very same day and every day it's over 45, it'll be out again
The current paint is rattle can. I need to be sure that all of my repairs will actually hold first. lol. Then it will be off to the paint booth.
Helmet was actually a Christmas gift from a buddy of mine. He thought it would match my color scheme better than my plain black.
It fits really well. The one thing I've noticed is that the top of the visor window is in the upper field of vision. Not sure how I feel about that yet.
