seems like all the online retailers sell it for msrp. anybody discount this stuff?

The best you can do is perhaps wait till a shop has an open house, etc. I tend to do most of my major parts and accesory purchases at this time. Most decent places usually will have some kind of discount during this event, maybe save 10% or so on each item.
