My local dealer hasn't had a problem moving their stock of base or carbon Diavels, but the 'chromo' model is just sitting there, next to one of those 27k AMG styling exercises. Methinks Diavel purchasers aren't quite the lifestyle crowd Ducati had hoped. They seem to go for real features over glitz and the illusion of exclusivity, just like most Ducati owners have done, most of the time.
It's possible that a 'touring' Diavel might have features worth considering, but I doubt it. I don't think the look and feel that appeals to potential Diavel owners also will appeal to those who want to tour. It's liable to sit on showrooms, much as the GT1000 Touring setup did.
