Hi,
Had to get the recovery people out to pick my duke up tonight (1999 748) as there was something wrong with my factory fitted imobilizer. It just decided not to pick up the signal from the keyring fob for some reason. The recovery guy used a signal tester to test the signal but it did not register. The indicator light was flashing as normal and the battery had a full charge. He then took the key thob appart still couldn't see anything put it back together, then it worked. I rode it home then tried to restart with the same problem. I then took it apart myself gave it a clean still nothing. The battery in the fob was replaced about 4 months ago so I don't think it's that. If I have to replace the fob, how do I go about doing this or is there something else I should check. Any ideas?

Thanks
Angus

But the immobilizer has no battery. Are you playing with some type of a security system? A security system and the work Immobilizer will be very different to us on the list.
