I need help identifying the chip that is currently in my 16M ECU. It's a 2000 ST4 motor I purchased to install in my 851. It appears to show "072U". Any ideas?

Thanx
Chris

I have no clue but on page 83 of the Ducati Desmoquattro Performance Handbook:

http://books.google.com/books?id=0E...qdHfAw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=1

It shows the "072U" code that is on the label and it's associated with a US ST4. Unfortunately the Google preview doesn't indicate what the listing in the book is for, but it looks to be a table of how much adjustment can be made to the ECU. So maybe it's a stock ECU?

Yep, I found a copy of the Ducati Desmoquattro Performance Handbook and there it was. It's a stock chip. Time for an upgrade.

Thanx

Eprom question

Chip on fleebay item # 230394097330, sounds like a deal.

Is this the same chip if the O72U numbers match or different from a Ducati Stock part?
Anyway to differentiate Ultimap from OEM?
