I owned one of these. It's a 450 RT. There's a compression release, and that's why the rear oil return tube is assymetrical. Notice the really wacky frame geometry. The engine's mounted way to the rear, and it's a wheelie monster. I still have an original CEV headlight assembly if anyone needs one. Also a side panel.

Pricey, but it is a frankenbike.

A thumper would be sweet, but a Monster off-road is freakin' cool also. Too simple of a formula. Seems like a no brainer.

That would be the first Ducati I ever saw in person. Actually 3 of them riding off road in west Texas. Boy did they sound good.

With a few small changes, that would be a great SM bike.
