Went to fire the bike and nothing. Battery completely dead <1 volt. Parking lights were not left on and I don't think there are any phantom loads while sitting. The bike has not been started for a few days.

Have not read the manual yet. Tried to charge the battery and it would not take a charge. Tried to jump the motor and when hooking up the jumper cables, everything remained dead. No display, light doesn't come on, no clicks, nothing.

If the battery completely dies, does the bike lose configuration data like a CMOS and forget how to be a bike. This is nuts!

If the battery won't hold a charge, its tost, get a new one and start over, Aloha Alex

If it is that dead, even on a jump, check your main fuse. While there, check them all. Make sure you pull the fuse and do a close visual inspection. If you have a meter, you can just run a quick continuity check. Usually, a quick visual will find it with how open they normally are when blown, but not always.

your bike is pretty much new still and you have had nothing but problems. Take it back to the dealer.
Agree with this, let them sort it out, sounds like you may have a dead short to knock it out that hard.
