What rider weight is the factory setting for the Hyper 950sp.
My weight with full gear is approximately 210 pounds. Do I need to adjust preload for my weight , or is it good with factory setting?
If possible, I would like to lower or soften suspension a little more for a better foot plant at stops without sacrificing performance.

Any ideas from those who have adjusted suspension sag. I use it mostly for commuting.

My advice : find somewhere local that specializes in motorcycle suspension and get your suspension set up by a professional. Probably the best $50 I've ever spent on a motorcycle!

I agree with Rob. A day at the track with a suspension company will get your suspension dialed in like nothing else. Super inexpensive way for a better ride and longer tire life. When I was in Northern California I used Dave Moss at Catalyst Reaction. Top notch!

I agree with the guys above about taking it to a suspension specialist. I had my 950SP done last week, I’m 190lbs kitted. Factory default was pretty close on preload, 2 clicks added on front and about 1/2” added to rear. Compression and rebound are a personal thing but it was in the ball park for my preference. Rebound wasn’t altered and compression was increased slightly. I was impressed by the default set-up as it handled well out of the “box” and just needed a tweak. In contrast when I picked a Multi DVT some years ago I was so disappointed as the handling was awful, turned out the preload was set to a very low weight. Tuning transformed the bike.
