My 2008 hyper 1100DS comes in 155lbs & yes crank alone is 47lbs no rods
The trans looks like it came out of a 1/2 ton truck it's so damned big & I don't know it's weight

FYI you don't need the clutch to shift it.......just blip & bang it just like I do to my 2010 salvage title beater 1100 (yea i feel bad thrashing on it) no problems in 12k miles & no pieces in the oil screen or magnetic drain plug

Those are some seriously obese cranks! I'm guessing the evo one is lighter and also has drilled gears iirc.

Thanks Mal, I forgot it would be volumetric for shipping.

The more I think about it, seems better to have it stripped down in the UK so that the barrels, heads, crank etc. can go to Kaemna before coming to me, then getting the cases etc. blasted and coated before having it all come to me as a kit for me to f*ck up the assembly :D

More than willing, as long as they're not NCR prices!

Are carillo the only option? Any lighter pistons available? I only see the pistal 100mm drop ins which are the same weight as the 98mm oem [which i guess is lightweight given the increase in dia.]
