I am trying to remove the rear brake light switch from the backside of the footpeg bracket. However, there isnt enough space to get my open ended wrench around the body of the switch. Any ideas?

I remove the foot peg bracket so I can unscrew the switch….at least it worked that way on the wife’s multi with the same switch.

I actually did that already. There is just not enough room for my wrench to get enough purchase on the hex part of the switch body. When I try anyway, I see that I am beginning to round off the hex part.
