I have a 998 Bostrom with a suspected bad fuel pump. I've removed the assembly from the bottom of the tank, but I don't see an obvious way to remove the pump itself so I can replace it. Its encased in a rubber sleeve. I tried pulling the rubber sleeve out, but its not budging.

Any guidance?

Figured it out. The rubber sleeve/pump assembly does slide out. The rubber on mine was a bit brittle, so it quite a bit of pulling. Once the pump/sleeve assembly was out, it then took another good bit of tugging to get the pump out of its sleeve.
