Why ducati put this kind of bolts from the frist place and how they bolt it when no head is on it?

What I did with my 848 SF was, take a dreamell and cut a straight line across deep enough for a giant flat screwdriver and unscrew it. If not then you will have to drill them out and use a bolt extractor. When you finally do install the new bolt, they will snap off at the head at a certain torque lbs. Don't get worried it's suppose to snap off, that's why the bolts you are trying to get out got there. Hopes it helps,it was a fun little project.

I took off the bolts! - Thanks for the helpers!

Now I have an issue with the bolt and components that holding the damper to the handlebar

I ordered original stock parts – 44,40,41,42,28 but it make no sense

The head of the bolt 44 Is too small to the hole of part 42.. even if I will use a wide spacer – it still will not make any sense to tighten the o ring…

Can someone please can take a pic for me from his bike – if you can please take the pic from the side so I can see what is the component that’s holds that unit

Thanks

Uri
