Poll type question - how high milage are people getting with their Sport Classics? They've been around a few years, so lets see how they're holding up.

Mine's an '07 and only 8,800 miles on it. I'm sure many have me beat.

38,927 miles as of this posting. Running strong. Almost afraid to service it it's running so well. :)

I'm embarrassed to say. (I've got too many hobbies. I guess I'm a "Jack of all trades and master of none." :()

But I am happy to report that there have been NO problems! :D

'07 bought new in July of '08. Just a hair shy of 10.000 miles in 13 months. Not bad for someone who has a 4 month long New England riding season!

'06 Sport1000

date of delivery: November 4, 2006
mileage: 14,202

During this time, I've also added 5,750 miles on my '01 MH900e and 9,182 miles on my '95 R100R Classic.

If I only had more time to ride ....... I no longer commute on 2 wheels, so I only putter around. No serious mileage for me anymore.

'07 Biposto purchased spring of '08. A little over 9,000 so far. In two weeks I am riding to Kentuky and back so that should add close to another thousand before the end of the month. :D

08 1000s bought in May 08. Weekend toy only, two children at home under the age of 2, lovely wife who demands family time, scuba diving fanatic, until recently also a V-Max owner....... 12,000kms on the SC. (so little time)
not enough, not enough, not enough!
but I am doing the run to Philip Island for the MotoGP in 7 weeks. That will be good for a 4,000km run.

33K miles on my PS1080LE. I'm pretty proud of that number considering that the bike's spent at least 8 months of its life in the shop having hot rodding and other mods installed, I live in the Pacific Northwest, and I've put 18K miles on my Ape in the 18 months that I've had it.

Hey Dr.D,

if you don't mind me asking, why are you selling the Aprillia?

PS - I should / want to thin the herd in my stable too, but given the current market, I rather keep all my bikes.
