Very strange, I've wanted a Diavel since 2012 but went with a Multi instead (and NO regrets on that). But lately I've been thinking more and more about how nice a cruiser would be. Didn't make sense for an adventure bike or a track bike, but now that those are covered started thinking about the Diavel again and wishing they'd make a V4 since that's what I think I'd miss most giving up the Tuono...DAMMIT.

Just spoke with Jim at Seacoast and put a deposit down on a red one, they're due to arrive in Jan/Feb. They'll probably offer me $250 for the Tuono. Who knows, I may cool off by then, though that usually happens AFTER I buy the thing.

playing with the 360º swivel viewer, this bike really makes my heart pitter patter, like the way the VMax did way back when, except I think these are real air intakes and from what I've read here from Diavel owners, they handle great. It just looks so muscular and tight, hope it actually looks that hot in real life. The 4 barrel exhaust is killer.

Ok, this one looks bitchen! The previous one looked like someone took a pickup truck to Orange County Cycle along with a box of money and told them to make a motorcycle out of it. This one looks like a race bike that had no interest in being a thin boned light weight machine, but instead spent a couple of years at the gym bulking up in all the right places. Should have named it Tyrus. It's not a track bike, and it flips a middle finger to track bike wannabees.

I completely agree with the notion that this one tickles all the same places that the Gen-1 Vmax did. Well done. Waaaaay out of my pay grade, but still, well done!

^that looks pretty cool to me except for the radiator and exhaust, but I don't think I'd want to ride it.

Rich, I'll take ur Tuono for $300 if it helps....and I'll pick it up so much better than @Chuckracer s offer.

Also interested in tickets to watch you load the Diavel into the transit van :p

I wished someone would build a 1100+cc, V2, 6 speed quickshift, 380lb (or 370lb) air cooled......something!

For around $30,000.00

You think I could make it street legal.......and get the state to title & licence it?
Sure. My very first street legal bike was a Yamaha TT500 with a Preston Petty lighting kit. That bike was a dedicated off-road vehicle, but with the addition of street legal fitments it was a street legal bike. Licensed and insured ... it had to be all square and straight, otherwise I would not have been allowed on the Air Force base I was stationed at with it.

This one's even got a mirror .... but a stock frame so it's most likely not as light.

EDIT: Uh oh ... man, we've gone WAY OFF TOPIC here .... pretty much my fault.

Yup that's what I do......derail forums.

I had a SUZUKI 400TM turned street legal in 1975 todays Supermoto's couldn't hold a candle to that freak.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program

That bike looks like a KTM 1290 superduke was outside the window of the designer that came up with it & probably corners like it also.
