I added the Motoelectric Hicap kit to my 2005 749s, everything was simple, I left the bike running and got an engine light, with voltage showing H on the dash.

Any tips or is this common? Voltage was fine prior. I'm going to check the actual voltage with a meter tonight after work. I checked it at install at 14.0 at idle, but only ran her a couple minutes. Today I let her run 15 or so.

Shorai Lithium battery as well. Newer, 2 months old.

Bump, going to throw a new Mosfet VR at her this weekend, saw 15.0v on the dash after 10 minute idle.

Reg/rec probably gone south.
Replaced with a "mosfet"type, still high, but better, 14.3 at the dash, 14.6 at battery.
