Hi all, from my "shelter in place" garage. I'm Mark. I'm a United Methodist Pastor here in Kennewick WA. I've been riding for years mostly standards and sport bikes. I do 3-4 track days a year now that I'm 50 they take a little more out of me than they used to :)

I started building cafe racers about 15 years ago. I was a car guy for years, but the check book couldn't afford restoring/building classic cars so I started working on older bikes. When the pandemic started growing I figured I better get a project to work on if I'm stuck at home. I've always loved the GT1000 but couldn't afford one so thought I'd build my own from either a older Monster or SuperSport some day. So a '99 750 ss came up on craigslist so I made a dash to Portland and picked it up.

The current stable looks like this :
'07 KTM Super Duke
982037

'11 Triumph Tiger 800
982038

The current project '99 750ss
982039

Some of my older projects:
Yamaha 78' 400XS
982040

'82 Honda 650 Nighthawk
Started like this:
982041

Ended up like this:
982042

'87 BMW K100
982043

Looking forward to participating in the forums

Mark

You did great on your cafe conversions!!! Love all of those bikes! If this pandemic settles down, I’m supposed to be in Spokane first of June for a week. I have family there and in Seattle.
