Hi from a newbie

Hi all,
New to the forum. I’ve had my 916 for about 7 years and use it regularly. I have other bikes so this one is for fair weather blasts around the countryside only.
It’s had the normal underseat relay issues so I keep a couple of spare relays. I decided to change the belts and when I removed the battery case I found one of the wires between the rectifier and alternator burnt through. I’ve replaced the wire so when I rebuild it hopefully the cutting out will have stopped.
I’m just hoping the fault isn’t the rectifier as I don’t think the faithful superdream rectifier will work as a swap on the 916.
