I am in need of some help with crash bars for my 2018 Multi 1260S. I am wanting to purchase some crash bars and really like the TouraTech ones that Ducati sells but do not want to pay the premium that Ducati branded aftermarket parts command. I have seen multiple different bars for sale on Ebay but am in need of some help with which exact part will fit the 2018 1260S.

I have scoured the internet trying to find this and have resulted in asking the community.

Right now there is a listing on Ebay (attached below) for the exact bars (part number 96780561B) I am looking for but unfortunately I can not find any info if these bars will fit my bike.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Thank you!!!

Can't say exactly about this model, but I had a positive experience with a SW-Motech "knockoff" bought on eBay for a Multi.

Of course zero installation instructions, but sturdy build and complete with all assembly pieces.

I've opted for the SW Motech style as its attachments don't use the radiator's support and screws. Installing those who use that attachment require you either remove almost all your side fairings or have a lot of patience (and rubber fingers) to get the bar in place and all other items aligned to fit and tight those screws. So net-net, went for the easier installation while still interestingly looking and good protection.

Have a look on the Heed website:

Email them and ask if they can ship to the US... Maybe worth a try ?

Too bad there are no US distributors! Those look great.

Looks like I got my answer, just time to play the waiting game......

Any chance you would be able to measure the length of the cross bar that is mounted in front of the radiator, behind the forks? I am thinking about mounting a light there

Yes, that was the part I was talking about....but the tolerance to the radiator guard looks very tight in that photo.

I was thinking about mounting a Rigid SR-Pro 6" LED bar and retrofitting to work with the OEM fog light button on the MTS.

Thanks for the reply!

There is some space between the guard and the bar ...

SW motech here too. I like that they fully protect the side covers and not leave a gap like touratech or heed. Minimal footprint

I’m thinking about selling the one on mine, 2019 PP. They’re OEM. Let me know if you are interested.
