hi there,

i'm planning to build a 1000ds engine (complete with single side swing arm) from a multistrada, into a supersport frame (build in 1995).
the bike is planned to become a track bike for my girlfriend.
who has done simmular things and can provide me with info and maybe even photos?
i have to weld some pieces so please give me tips, so i can do all the welding stuff in one time.

thanks

i would take either a superbike or cheap multistrada frame for
the projekt, as it would make things so much easier.

nice multilala conversion:

.......

i guess its do-able but it will be an awful lot of work to replicate the upper shock linkage mounts and get them positioned correctly.if your intention is to stay with the 95 frame........ ,i think your best option would be to obtain a supersport rear shock and mount it cantilever style ,you would just need to weld a suitable bracket to the swingarm in the correct position and your away.this pic is idicative of what can be done...............

hey there.
thanx for the photo.
nice bike. suits to my ideas.
can you tell me what frame you used on this bike?
and what swingarm?
can you send me a picture from the rear side of the bike?
including the swingarm mounting and the way you did the mounting of the shock?
that would probably help me a lot.
thanx,

sorry, it is not my bike, and i haven't got any more
pictures of it.
i always thought it is a multistrada frame with a
Monster S2R swingarm.

when i look close to the frame, it looks to me as a monster frame.
and with the sssa it is probably a s2r or a s4r.
but it's a nice bike.
thanx
