Changed out my cam belts, hooked everything back up.
turn on the key , won't crank, I'm getting a constant ticking sound coming from under the seat, its ,i believe a relay thats ticking on the right side, Bike ran before i took it apart.
any help appreciated

I have done that before. It is such a natural instinct to connect to the negative post. I can't remember ever reading an explanation for why it only works when grounded through the ecu. It doesn't seem like it should make a difference.

Very common mistake. Hopefully it did not burn out the ground trace inside the ECU. If you have any running weirdness (due to this), you can take the ground wire inside the OBD plug, and run it to ground. That's the "cheap" work-around. The other way is to buy a new ECU.

Runs like a raped ape. put 120 miles on it after the service.
New belts, plugs, air filter, oil and filter.
Plugs were black, 10,000 miles on them, belts. Belts were a little loose but looked good. mice in the air box.
restricting the air flow figured it was running a little rich.
Need to check air box annually and tape off inlet over the winter storage.
