Well I'm not sure what's wrong but my 08 848 started running real bad and I tryed to ride to work but it started running so bad that I had to turn back and park it , as I was walking away I noticed inside the mufflers on both sides it was glowing bright red (lean? Oh shit I'm worried) and I got no way to get in in to dealership Can anyone help ?

Is it under warranty? I'm sure by this time you have contacted the dealer for assistance. I would have come out with my trailer, but being in California... Good luck.

Well Im not in such a panic now (I was freakin) I just got off the phone with donellson they are gonna pick it up today , what a relief ! It's weird it has been idling ruff when cold but then running great , but today it never got better ,it started Tuesday before I fueled it so I guess that would rule out the gas I got , thanks for replys and offers to help

FYI

I have an enclosed race car trailer (which without the car has plenty of room for several bikes) and would always help out if someone is stranded. I may sell my race car this fall but for now it would be no problem. Just get my # off the contacts thread and call. Since I am self-employed I can pretty much always get out of work.

It was a 17$ spark plug went bad , that they didn't replace at the 7.5K service/inspection ,becouse" they looked okay" (IMO they should have been replaced regardless) . Denny never remembers that I work 2nd shift 2pm start and can't pick it up today since it was I who called him at noon today , so that means I'm out for Saturdays ride even though you ll be meeting up just a few miles from my house . Hey thanks again for all the help/support, gotta take the cage in to work now

Sounds like I'd never see her again if I took you up on that "generous" offer ?
So I got her home in the rain and obviously couldn't give her to much gittyup but she seems to be running/idling fine ,already cleaned her up and now we're just waiting on the weather , thanks again for all the support
