Does normal wind noise that we should expect from any helmet include an annoying high pitched whistle whenever you cross the 35 mph threshold?

This is my first closed face helmet. I have no idea whether I have a legitimate beef or this is par for the course. The whistle is pretty loud and seems to be sourced from the left side where the helmet and top part of the visor come together. If I hold my hand up by the visor hinge the whistle stops.

I get the whistle even if I switch out visors.

Ideas?

You can adjust how the shield sits on the helmet and how well it seals by loosening the shield base plate screws and moving it slightly. It takes a fair bit of messing with it, and no guarantees that will solve the whistle, but it's worth a try.
