Yeah, it was entirely my fault. I gambled that I had at least 20 miles from when the low fuel light went on, but I lost. I ran out at 17miles with the exit in sight! Oh well. Like you said, next time as soon as my light goes on, I'm letting people know and looking for a gas station!

Carlos you big dork! You got a new tank but no gas. hahaha Good to see you made it ok. I dont mess around with that low fuel light. As soon as it comes on i get gas. I have a feeling you will be doing the same.

I don't have a fuel gauge or a fuel light....the trip odometer never lies though, 130 miles = I get gas.

I used to have fuel light but it was super bright and was really distracting at night. It used to come on everytime I put serious lean angle on the bike (often). I asked if George could fix it, of course he could $2-300...I took the bulb out of the dash and decided to go with the trip odo.

It felt really good smashing that annoying little bulb to tiny bits too.

Glad you guys had a good ride.

Chris
