Yeah, it was entirely my fault. I gambled that I had at least 20 miles from when the low fuel light went on, but I lost. I ran out at 17miles with the exit in sight! Oh well. Like you said, next time as soon as my light goes on, I'm letting people know and looking for a gas station!
Carlos you big dork! You got a new tank but no gas. hahaha Good to see you made it ok. I dont mess around with that low fuel light. As soon as it comes on i get gas. I have a feeling you will be doing the same.
I don't have a fuel gauge or a fuel light....the trip odometer never lies though, 130 miles = I get gas.
I used to have fuel light but it was super bright and was really distracting at night. It used to come on everytime I put serious lean angle on the bike (often). I asked if George could fix it, of course he could $2-300...I took the bulb out of the dash and decided to go with the trip odo.
It felt really good smashing that annoying little bulb to tiny bits too.
