I have a lovely 2009 Monster 696, I've had this bike for almost 1 year exactly. My last bike was a suzuki, and I've been riding for a few years now.

I live in the desert of southern california, and have lived here for a while now...

I named my bike tigerlilly.

I'm currently deciding on how to move forward with a bent gear shaft... replace engine or no? So I'm 100% positive I'll be reading a lot on here.

Bent gear shaft? That doesn't sound good. Which shaft are you referring to, exactly? Got a picture?

Sorry, its the output shaft. The front sprocket attaches to it.
