Broke the headlight bulb clip screw today. I guess I did not know how to remove the clip so went for the screw. The freaking screws broke in half. So there is not where to put the bulb clamp.

What could be my best way out without having to replace the entire headlight casing.

I tried glue but did not stick. In the end I ended up with using sponge in the space between the bulb connector and the circular cap. This is working well but I am concerned about heating issues and potentially the sponge becoming a fire hazard.

should I go back and use a different thing like a rubber spacer or some such?

thanks!!

In the end I put some heat resistant rubber pieces, been two weeks and 1000 miles. So far so good!
