While bolting on several Altrider accroments (rad &oil cooler guards + exhaust guard) I was looking at the UNprotected head and coil. Anyone built a protector for this? I'm planning on making something and attaching to the exhaust guard.

Comments/opinions?

Dont hold your breath on Altrider making one....I got a cold shoulder when suggesting something like this for our bikes, they are not interested. I'm making one myself.

Thanks....the little guard, protecting the front of the head is fine, but the one I'm gonna build will protect that fragile coil. I don't know if anyone has managed to damage/break the coil yet, but I really don't want to do it while in BFE!
