Are you suing OEM bolts? I have bought aftermarket risers and making bolts myself and the the OEM wont be long enough. I can check the pitch for you.

M8x1.25 on my S2R.
Greetings,

I am looking forward to replace handlebar clamp bolts too. I'm not sure about the specs. I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread. Though, I'm bit confused about the length of the bolts.

M8 x 1.25 x ??

M8 = 8mm diameter of the threaded portion
1.25 = Pitch of the threads
?? = Length of the portion that will be invisible once installed

Would appreciate your help

Cheers!

Forgot to mention about my ride. It's a 2011 Monster 796 - Non ABS model :)
That's going to be dependent on how tall your bar clamps are. I'm not familiar with the 796 top triple either. On my S2R, the bolts thread directly into the triple with room for them to extend beyond it underneath.

I don’t believe all Monsters use the same size, so you ought to measure your own.

remove one of the current bolts and measure how long it is, and then add the thickness of whatever yo're putting in there. should work.
