Hey gang. I have a crack in the plastic over my speedo. I DO NOT want to pay the $750 for a new gauge cluster.
I have seen on this site people saying that it is possible to remove the plastic and get a piece custom cut.

Has anyone done this? If so, can someone take a moment and describe the process.

When I look at it, I imagine the gauge cover is either glued in place or held with plastic tabs, or both.

I just wanted to see if there was any tips from the community before I have at the thing with a screwdriver. :)

Much thanks in advance for any help.

Len,..

I don't have any tips, except that there is a rubber ring that goes around where the two pieces combine. I have read a few places on the net that showed ppl taking their guages apart.

Someone on the net also redoes the lights in the guages and changes the LED colors.

You may just have to seach google for different descriptions.
