The 32mm nut that holds the clutch assembly together on my 2011 MTS 1200 came loose the other day and caused a few problems, which I have pretty much taken care of, and now it’s time to put the clutch back together. This is the first time I’ve been into this wet clutch, and I want to make sure that I do everything possible to make sure the nut doesn’t come loose again. The torque spec for the nut is 190 NM, which is a lot, but I’m wondering if I should also use Loctite on it. The service manual calls for grease on the threads. Any advice on using Loctite vs grease on this nut?
