So I have a chance to buy two new camshafts for my 748 build, the details are as follows....

New old stock pair of OA & VA “G” inlet camshafts for 916 996 748....

Question, can i use these g cams with my stock 748 exhaust cams? and are these a different profile then my exh cams?

0f is 748r inlet cams.

g cams require a lot of rpm, but if it's a 748 and you are revving it they might not be too bad. will have a midrange hole, just like a 748sps.

Had "G" cams in my 955, dead until about 5000, then HANG ON! Would be unrideable on the street. Was hard to ride on the racetrack.

Not much point is using the cams unless you go bigger valves, I have a set of rs heads and they have 37 mm valves.
Wdietz is right about being unbridgeable on the street, the power is all above 7k, do a 853 KIt and cam timing and you will be a very happy camper.

I would need to buy two RS intake cams to make these work with the RS exhaust cams? I dont think they would work good with the stock intake cams I have?
