Has anybody else w/the full 70mm system had this problem, the left side lower fairing half is getting cooked by that little tab on the forward cylinder pipe
I looked at it and it doesnt seem to be an adjustment issue with the pipes
any thoughts, the picture sucks but you will get the idea

I had the same problem on my T9 (999) so I took a piece of heat foil tape and stuck it to the problem area, and then cut a piece of header wrap and laid it over the tin tape and taped another slightly larger piece of tin tape over top of the whole thing.......problem solved

Yep what he said is the fix. However I know of a couple people that have taken it further and gotten new fairings from Ducati. I guess the argument was that it was a Ducati approved Termi exhaust. Worth a try. Good Luck.

You need to take some exhaust wrap and wrap the pipes up. Then get some DEI Reflect-o-Gold or other radiant heat deflector for the lower fairings.

On the XX9's we don't use the rear bolt for the lower fairings.
