I removed the fuel pump flange on my 2014 Multistrada S Touring to swap out the fuel filter. After reassembling, when turned on the pump does not stop “spooling” but it starts normally and runs normally. Any ideas as to what is going on. Thanks in advance for any remarks.

Presumably there is no hard stop when pumping to stop it spooling, but runs ok for the leak so still producing pressure. Needs to be taken apart again and examined for fit and reassembled . :(
