Hey guys my 999 forks (showa) come back from the suspension guru in a fortnight and an interesting question has been raised.

What are you going to do about a mudguard? he say's (fender to you guys across the pond) does anyone have any ideas?

Has anyone done this? Will my original mudguard go on or do I have to get 999 fittings and stick one of those on?

Regards

We used S4RS front fenders on our project bike. They have a mount on the front and rear like the 999.

Nick, I went with a carbon 999 mud guard (got it from Martin at MotoWheels) on mine and am quite pleased with how it turned out. I think the shorter lines of the 999 piece are more fitting for the SC bikes than the Monster mud guard.

Thanks Guys

Thank you Gentlemen for the suggestions and the pictures, I'm leaning toward the 749/999 carbon mudguard.

Regards Nick
