Just finished installing Martin Brickwood collets during a valve adjustment today. When i fired the bike up, noticed some smoke coming from front exhaust manifold flange. At first, thought no biggie, old oil from adjustment burning off. Smoke cont'd and i noticed oil seeping around flange and finally dripping.
The bike ran great 2 days ago before doing the adjustment/ collet placement. All shims where withing spec, and closers not too tight. Have any of you guys ever 'injured' a valve seal while doing and ajustment? Can i replace this valve seal without taking the head off? Does the seal just 'pop' off the top of the seat? thanks
